Union Arts Council’s 2nd Annual Art Show

The Union Arts Council thanks Duck Commander for its corporate sponsorship!

UACandMAD-061A Joyce Beauvais won Best of Show in the professional category for her watercolor painting, Fai-do-do at the Union Arts Council’s 2nd Annual Art Show. Beauvais also won 2nd place in painting, and Sue Abbot won 1st Place in painting.

UACandMAD-040A Richard Lowery won the Peoples’ Choice award for his photography. He also won 2nd place in Folk Art and 1st Place in amateur 2-dimensional art. Jim Funderburk won 1st Place in Folk Art and Richard Jenkins won 3rd place. Mary Moore won 2nd Place in 2-dimensional amateur art, Rickie Cox won 3rd Place, and Manuel Watkins won an Honorable Mention.

Also included in the Union Arts Council’s 2nd Annual Art Show were works by students from Downsville Charter School and Union Christian Academy.
